Amanda Phillips, NP joined the practice in 2014 as a nurse practitioner specializing in our electrophysiology clinic. She has 14 years of clinical and hospital experience, serving as cardiac nurse in the Macon Cardiovascular Institute. Working with cardiovascular and vascular surgeons, she managed and removed chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, venous catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps. She has extensive experience with wounds vac placement and management. She also served in the emergency room in a Level I trauma center and as a certified flight nurse for many years.
