Shannon joined the practice in July 2016 as a nurse extender for both primary cardiology and electrophysiology.
Shannon has 10 years of nursing experience serving as a surgical trauma / med-surg / ICU / emergency room and step-down cardiac nurse. He began travel nursing and later transitioned to a nurse manager position for two years. He has always had a passion for patient care, treating and caring for
every patient as if they were his own family member. He believes great patient outcomes occur when wholistic and proficient care is provided, advocacy for the patient remains a priority, and empathy shown by the provider with every encounter is recognized.
Hobbies:
Shannon enjoys spending time with his family including his wife and 2 children. He enjoys traveling and participating in outdoor activities/sports. Shannon is a devoted member of the Baptist church family and advocating community involvement.
Fun fact/talent:
Shannon has a passion for music and has talent as a drummer.
