Dr. Jones is a native of Central Georgia and has been practicing as a cardiologist for over 30 years. She was the first female cardiologist to begin practicing in Middle Georgia in 1984. She was also the first cardiologist in the region to have hands-on experience with an angioplasty balloon, which occurred during her fellowship training in 1984. She has been instrumental in taking cardiac care to surrounding outlying communities in Central Georgia.
